We want to be part of, and enhance, your special event and we are passionate about every aspect of the journey we will take together. We will listen to your needs and wishes and we look forward to working with you to make sure you love the products you receive from us.

Lynne Erskine

Thanks for taking the time to browse my website. I thought the least I could do in return was tell you a little bit about myself!

I am Lynne, I was born in Dunfermline in 1979 and I grew up in Cowdenbeath. I married my lovely husband Lewis in 2001 and we have 3 beautiful children, Callum, Rachel and Ryan.

I made my own wedding stationery and that's where the passion for cardmaking began. It continued as a hobby until after my daughter was born in 2004. I decided to become self employed from home to fit in with the children and in June 2005 'Caralyle' came into being. Many people as where the name comes from - it is the first 2 letters of our family members-

CAllum, RAchel, LYnne & Lewis = CARALYLE

Since starting Caralyle we have a further family addition - Ryan; but rather than change the company name there is RY in there somewhere, perhaps I will name a design after him when he's old enough to notice!

I regularly burn the candle from both ends to meet the full time demands of 3 children and my own successful business, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love being a work from home Mum and I feel lucky to have the opportinity to do a job I enjoy and be creative.

I am also heavily involved in the Wedding Co-op, which is a Fife based networking group for Wedding industry businesses. I started the group along with Susan from Cobalt designs who I met at a Business Gateway event. We now organise regular wedding fayres, social events and different promotion activites.
